The department of road construction Inteco engineering developed the package proposal on removal of holes and cracks in the road asphalt coat with the use membrane technologies. The given technology protect highways from destruction for more than 10 years and considerably save the means for their construction and repair.

«One of the major problems of domestic highways are holes and cracks, which lead to fast destruction of asphalt covering. If you remove these defects in time it is possible to protect road covering for long time. The technology is used on the base layer of road covering and we use polimeric asphalt emulsion HILAFLEX 70 production of DGA Group (Germany). The bitumen fills in all macro- and microcracks, providing perfect adhesion with new layer of bituminous concrete. The use of emulsion HILAFLEX 70 is effective on surfaces as the formed membrane closes all cracks of the covering that prevents water hit in the bottom layers. The membrane technology is widely applied in Germany on repair of highways. In Ukraine it was used for the first time last year in Vinnitsa. In 2013 we plan to apply this technology for repair of highways also in Ivano-Frankovsk area and other regions of Ukraine », the director of road construction department Inteco engineering Oleg Makarchev underlined.
