In the National Arts Museum of Ukraine the exhibition «Ukrainian New wave. The art of second half 1980th - early 1990th» was opened owing to art patronage of Dmitriy Andrievskiy and Igor Voronov.
The project which represents the art of Perestroika period as independent and important period in history of national culture was implemented in Ukraine for the first time. The works of artists which started the creative searches in 1980 were presented at the exhibition. At present these works are the foundations of the Ukrainian modern art: A.Gnilitsky, A.Golosiy, I.Chichkan, O.Tistol, A.Savadov, V.Tsagolov, Y.Solomko, A.Roytburd, M.Skugraeva, D.Kavsan, I.Isupov, O.Druganov, G.Vysheslavskiy and etc.
«The National art museum always was the cultural space where time-proved original works of art were collected. It is honour and pride that today we implemented in common another bright and interesting artistic project which opens the unique page of our history - the period of change 80th-90th. After all to revive the country it is possible only after reviving of spirituality and cultural traditions», Dmitriy Andrievskiy underlined at the press conference.
Owing to art patronage of Dmitriy Andrievskiy and Igor Voronov, the exhibition of paintings of known Georgian artist Niko Pirosmani took place in 2006 and the exhibition of pictures "Persons" of outstanding masters of XX-th century from collection of Dmitriy Andrievskiy took place in 2007. Also the massive educational project «Library of arts» lasts for two years. As a part of project to libraries, educational institutions and museums of 13 regions of Ukraine were presented with the albums dedicated to treasury of National Art Museum of Ukraine.
